KnowYourGeo

KnowYourGeo is a free training app for GeoGuessr players who want to improve, not just chase a score. You practice on real Google Street View, pin guesses on a map, and leave each round knowing which clues you missed. What I built: Map pickers (world or by continent), Moving / No Move and timer constraints, AI round review that highlights street signs and regional meta, field guides, and profiles that journal sessions and weak spots. Auth supports email and Google. AI analysis runs on secured, rate-limited server routes so API keys never ship to the browser. Tech stack: Next.js 16, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS v4, Google Maps / Street View, Google Gemini, Supabase Auth, and Upstash Redis.
